The Fair for Life certification is a standard for Fair Trade and responsible supply-chains. This endorses our support towards the local social fabric and enabling producers and workers to access a wider range of social and economic benefits.

NESSO is the go-to manufacturer for traceable and sustainable botanical extracts catering to the dietary supplement, food and personal care marketspace. NESSO operates 3 manufacturing facilities and is UEBT Member, For Life, FSSC 22000, cGMP, Organic (NPOP, NOP and EU), Kosher and Halal certified. NESSO Maintains Traceability throughout the process.

NESSO is the first and only company to obtain the Fair for Life and For Life certification for Jasmine Grandiflorum, Tuberose and Jasmine Sambac concrete/absolute for use in fine fragrance and aromatherapy. With a network of over 950 farmers, NESSO is committed to sustainability ensuring support to farmers and producer communities by valuing their traditional knowledge and allowing producers fair remuneration.

Social & Environmental responsibility:

With a goal to reduce carbon footprint, NESSO implemented a solar generation plant in its manufacturing unit. NESSO is committed to protecting the environment, safety, health and social fabric in all the activities it supports and performs.

NESSO’s CSR Policy focuses on conducting business in a socially responsible and ethical manner, protecting the environment and the safety of people, supporting human rights and respecting and supporting the communities and cultures within which we work.

NESSO Adheres with gender equality, work place safety and fair wages. NESSO implemented Sexual harassment procedure to ensure women safety. Child labor is not permitted in NESSO premises. Grievance policy is put in Place to express the grievances of the employees.

We at NESSO, duly recognize our role as a manufacturer of botanical extracts and commit to consistently meet the customer requirements along with complying to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. We ensure continued suitability and effectiveness of Environmental Management Systems by adopting continual improvement in processes and products. We will continuously try to reduce waste and optimize consumption of resources.

Empowerment & Capacity building:

We contribute to the livelihood of local farmers by encouraging them to cultivate Jasmine flowers and providing a guaranteed market for the farmer’s produce. Our research on new / improved agricultural practices has helped the farmers to improve their income through increased plantation yield and reduced cultivation cost. We also provide plant saplings, help in irrigation water supply, medical insurance and advance to farmers in need. The network farmers are regularly trained on good agricultural practices, lower use of pesticides, etc. thus improving efficiency in the supply chain.
